Peter Cejas is the principal and founder of Septima Advisory with over 25 years of experience navigating complex business issues for clients including general corporate and business matters, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and complex and multi-business enterprise development.
Peter has participated in (re)structuring over US$1B of deals for private investment funds and SMEs throughout the Americas and has experience in dealing with US and foreign federal agencies and regulatory regimes (including, US Securities and Exchange Commission, Central Bank of Curacao, Colombia Superintendencia de Sociedades and Mexico Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal). His multifaceted background as an investment banker, seasoned corporate attorney, and financial advisory leader distinguishes him from other executives and his experience in managing risk and corporate matters, steering high-stakes deals and controversies, and M&A initiatives has provided him with an astute understanding of market dynamics, effective risk management strategies, the ability to circumnavigate complex challenges and most importantly -- people. Peter's business and legal background also allows him to provide clients with holistic guidance for complex business and investment decisions.
Peter founded Septima plc to provide legal and business advisory services to a select group of clients and currently advises private investment funds, family offices, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and CEOs on a wide variety of matters, as well as provides independent director and board advisory services and global litigation management.
Peter holds a BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis, a JD from Golden Gate University School of Law, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management.
