However, this type of active involvement is only possible when legal fees are appropriately priced to enable the business to include its legal counsel in day-to-day decision-making to develop a long-term, trusting relationship and understanding of the business. Our engagement is determined by the needs of the client rather than the often intractable fee structure that large law firms impose, or the financial expectations of a full-time employee.
By leveraging our low overhead costs, our standard hourly rate is less than traditional law firms (where a large majority of the attorneys have no actual experience as in-house legal counsel or practical experience in the business world). Keeping true to our business-centric and practical approach, we offer progressive fee structures that allow clients to better anticipate and budget for monthly legal costs or special projects.
We will work with you to arrive at a mutually agreed-upon fee based on the complexity and time commitment of the project. We are also open to discussing any creative ideas you may have regarding alternative fee arrangements.
